KHRUSTALEVA, Sophia (1915-2006)
Sophia Khrustaleva was born in Yaroslavl region in 1915. Studied at Yaroslavl art College 1939-1941. Than graduated from Yagonson studio in 1947. She started exhibiting her works at 1960. Specialises in genre, landscapes and still life paintings. Member of the Union of Artists since 1961. Some of her paintings are held in public museums in Yaroslavl, Vologda and Cherepovets. Personal exhibition in Vologda - 1962, 1986, 1992, 2002 and 2005. Important shows include 'All-Union Art Exhibition', Moscow 1995. Many of her paintings are in private collections in Russia, Great Britain, Holland and France.
