EREMENKO Vladimir (1922-1988)
Vladimir Eremenko was born in Village Gulkevichi, Kuban region in 1922. In 1939 he graduated from the Sevastopol Art Studio of the Crimean House of Folk Art named after Samokish. Began creative work in 1950. He worked in the portrait genre. From 1949-1953 was the chairman of the board of the Mosoblkhudozhnik, from 1961-1963 was deputy of the local council of people's deputies. Participant of exhibitions: regional exhibition dedicated to the XXII Congress of the CPSU (1962), zonal exhibition "In a single formation" (1964, 1967, 1969, (1971) regional exhibition dedicated to the Victory Day (1964), exhibition dedicated to the XXIII Congress of the CPSU (1966)‚ Exhibition, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the defeat of the Germans near Moscow (1966) regional exhibition “My outer Moscow”(1968, 1980), IV republican exhibition “Artists of the central regions of Russia” (1974), regional, republican and zonal exhibitions (1968-1988). Major works: “Sashka-skier”, “Portrait of a milkmaid”, “Old Buryat woman”, “Chabanka Sanzhizhab”, “Hero of the Soviet Union F. Bazhenov", “Founder of the collective farm”, “Communist”, “Private Yudun”, “Milkmaid Sandnomova”. Specialises in genre scenes, portraits and still life. His works are held in Rostov Art Museum. Many of her works are in private collections in the Russia, Great Britain, Germany and USA.
