POPOVA, Zoya (1915-2012)

Zoya Popova (born 1915) studied at the Saratov Art College until 1938. She became a member of the Union of the Artists in 1964. Specialised in still life and portraits. Her works are held in Volgograd and Astrakhan Art Museums. Taught at Astrakhan Art College 1980s - 1990s. Many of her paintings have found their way to private collections in the Russia, Great Britain, Japan, Germany and France.
