BELYAYEV Nikolai (1916 -2004)

Born in Tsaritseno in 1916. Graduated from the Moscow Art Institute name 1905 in 1939. Member of the Union of Artists since 1945. Began exhibiting in 1946. Became an Honoured Artist in 1978. Specialised in thematic paintings, portrait and landscapes. Member of the Grekov Studio from 1958. His paintings were widely exhibited and acquired by the museums of his native country and abroad. Many of his works are in private collections in the USA, Great Britain, Spain, Germany and Japan.
